Summer Teams

What’s different about Summer Teams?

Summer Teams operate in several locations across Europe on a variety of projects. This includes –

  • Reaching out to international language students in university cities.
  • Taking part in camps where national students learn English and study the Bible.
  • Exchange programmes where living with national students provides opportunities to share Jesus.

Because accommodation is usually with host families the cost of involvement can be relatively low – from £75 up, not including flights – compared with other summer projects.

Summer Teams normally run for 1-4 weeks.

Is there a role for me on a Summer Team?

If you are committed to seeing students find faith in Jesus there’s a role for you. We need talkers and listeners, administrators and coffee makers, communicators and backroom helpers.

So we have a slot for whatever you’ve got!

Locations for summer teams which we have been asked to advertise by our national movements or partner organisations.

The list may change and the dates, in some cases, are only provisional.

You should check the exact details and dates with the team leader in the location of your choice. Please note that in all locations the price does not include travel unless stated. IFES InterAction cannot carry liability for the summer teams or take any responsibility for them. However, we do recommend them, and many are run by our staff members in various countries!

For more information about the specific summer teams, please use the contact information. You can find details at the different pages!

You may need a recommendation from your IFES national movement to join a summer team.
