Facts box: Czech Republic

It is one of the few countries in Europe where more than 50% of the population would describe themselves as 'atheists'.

There's been an InterAction team based in Prague since 2005 working closely with UKH, the national movement, in evangelism, discipleship and training.

Living costs are less than in Western Europe.

There are opportunities to teach English (paid and unpaid) with or without formal qualifications.

No visa is needed from EU countries.

Team members need to be willing to learn Czech but are able to do much in English.
